A painting of a herd of Holstein cows enjoying a swim and cooling off on a warm and sunny afternoon at the lake.

The day is also pleasant for a great egret, blue herons and a barn owl. Lush green foliage of the trees provides welcome shade and serene beauty to this scene. Water lilies in the foreground add to the pastoral setting.
