| A meadowlark perched on a hay
bale on a sunny afternoon. In the background, a pair of Sandhill Cranes
can be seen by the lake.
I find the composition of large round
hay bales very intriguing, and hope to paint more in the future.
For local history buffs and according
to life long neighbors the large hay bail in the foreground of this
painting is the approximate location of the original Buckmaster farmstead.
The home was moved to the south and west apx ½ mile and added
to the west side of the Kenyon home.
I am constantly searching for historical
tid bits to motivate my next creative endeavor.
